Plazandreok is an association of women who wish to add our voice to politics. For us politics means, above all, the responsibility of managing community issues. Our principal objectives are: to participate in politics by representing ourselves; to raise so called "personal" issues to the category of "public" and to bring to society our way of doing politics.
Plazandreok is a plural platform, made up of women who prize what unites us rather than what separates us. Our organizational structure is horizontal and assembly based, and decisions are made by consensus because for us it is important to include minority opinions and to move ahead together from a common meeting ground. We strive to be an alternative to present political parties which are marked by a hierarchical structures and excessive professionalization. Not wanting to create professional politicians, we propose rotation of posts of responsibility.
