Exposición *Parafernalia: Cultura Skate

Esta exposición de carácter antropológico analiza el monopatín como objeto y el skateboard como herramienta contracultural. Pretende buscar las señas de identidad autóctonas entre la inmensa producción gráfica, fotográfica y audiovisual que genera esta actividad juvenil y suburbana asentada desde hace tres décadas en nuestro territorio.

Inauguramos las proyecciones en Arteleku donde podremos ver: el documental Euskadi Patina de Anai García que narra una personal historia del skateboarding en el País Vasco, presentaremos el DVD The Strongest of The Strange producido por el patinador profesional sueco Pontus Alv , el madrileño Alfonso Nogueroles traerá su documental Regular, un documento que narra la historia de Alfonso Fernández, indispensable figura del street-skating español, y proyectaremos en vídeo el programa nº 686 cedido por Metrópolis de TVE2 titulado Skateboart.

11:00 h. Elaboración colectiva del 1er número del fanzine "Calle magazine".

16:30 h. Sesión de patinaje en la mini-rampa de Txomin-Enea.

Izaera antropologikoko erakusketa honek objektutzat aztertzen du monopatina, eta kontrakulturako tresnatzat, berriz, skateboarda. Nortasun ezaugarri autoktonoak aurkitu nahi ditu, gure lurraldean dagoeneko hiru hamarkada direla finkatuta dagoen gazte eta hiri giroko jarduera honek eragiten duen produkzio grafiko, fotografiko eta ikus-entzunezko itzelean.

This anthropological exhibition analyses the skateboard as an object and as a countercultural tool. It aims to try and find certain local distinguishing identity marks among the huge amount of graphic, photographic and audiovisual work produced by this youthful suburban activity that has been established in our region for three decades.

We will be opening the screenings at Arteleku where we will be able to see: the documentary Euskadi Patina by Anai García which tells a personal story about skateboarding in the Basque Country; we will be showing the DVD The Strongest of The Strange produced by the professional Swedish skateboarder Pontus Alv; Alfonso Nogueroles from Madrid will be bringing his documentary Regular, a document that tells the story of Alfonso Fernández, an essential figure in Spanish street-skating, and we will be screening a loaned video of programme nº 686 of Metrópolis on TVE2 entitled Skateboart.
